I did it! I finished my shawl last night after a good 10 hours of solid work. I even did the pockets and sewed them on. I have to admit that I am just... ridiculously proud of myself, I really am. Usually I lose interest halfway through the pattern. But this time I made it through! This makes me think that I may finally be able to tackle a sweater pattern.
I can already tell that I'm going to miss working on the shawl, I've worked on it every day for a month, since Memorial day weekend. Now... I get to wear it! I'll post a picture of it just as soon as I can get someone to snap one of me in it. I finished it too late last night and everyone was already sleeping.
