In My Skin

I think that it's very important for people to be comfortable in their own skins. To be true to themself and like that person. Because if you can't love yourself, why should anyone else?

Having said that in mind, I would like to share the fact that I am a dork. I admit it, and I enjoy it. It makes life fun, not to have to worry about appearing professional or mature or really to fit into any label except "Kelly".

If you don't believe that I'm a dork, just view these...

Just call me Sherry Potter!

Why smile when you can do this!

Yup, I own a Ren Faire Costume...

And I hit on the villans at the faire...

This is actually from tonight. I'm a season seat holder for the Chicago Wolves. Yes, that is a giant foam hockey puck on my head. What... you don't have one?

I know a lot of people would look at these pictures and probably think "WEIRDO!" but I look at them and they make me laugh and remember how much fun I was having when they were taken.

In all seriousness, it's really important to be yourself. Life is far too short to pretend to be someone else. Except maybe in the summer, when you head off to the Renaissance Faire.
