Aye, what's a piratess to do? It's a lonely life on the high seas. Just me...
And Little Jack.
We split our treasures into equal shares, but Little Jack is always in search of a little extra Pirate Booty.
Many a time has he jumped from the crow's nest....
And gone diving.
Some say pirates are only thieving drunkards.
I just wonder why the rum is always gone.
Oh yes, that's why...
As Captain Kelly Connor Sink-or-Swim I'm always on the look out for new recruits for my ship, the Tricoteuse.
I like to start them young, teach them to sail before you teach them to walk, thats the way to make a sailor. I promise them treasure, adventure, danger, the chance to be a gentleman or gentlewoman of fortune...
But I think they just join up for the stylish hats...
Savvy?
Savvy?

Aarrrr, matey!!!
Love the costume. Makes me wish I had the money to afford a new one this year when the Faire opens.
Great pictures and I love the costume. I would definately sign up for the stylish hats. My heart is just not in it for the loot!
Sounds like fun! Wish I was closer to experience it too.
That's just the greatest. Your lil' pirate pal looks very sweet!
Love your photo essay! Hee hee. And your pirate-in-training looks to be headed for great things.
Wow, I love the new garb, it looks great!! And I love Lil Jack - where did you get him?
You look so awesome in that costume, you have no idea. My husband also thinks that I would look dead sexy in something like that. Where did you get Lil Jack, I might need one. We're going to the Southeastern Connecticut Ren Fest today, but we're not going to be dressed in anything cool like you. I hope we have as much fun as you did!
