So my bestest best buddy Anna is gradjimicating from pharmacy school on May 14th. I wanted to do something special. Something original Something more than flowers, a card and a pat on the head.
Then I thought… a play. A musical. We’re always singing in the car (a sign of how truly close we are.).
At first I thought Wicked. It’s in town and I know Anna likes the music. But, unfortunately, I’d rather have a tooth pulled than go see it. Honestly, I have no interest in it at all. I was willing to make the sacrifice though.
Until I saw that The Lion King is playing just a short 4 hour drive north of us.
I checked with Anna to make sure she was down with it (oh she was) and I called to see if there were any seats available.
Row E, seats 153 & 154
8 rows from the stage. Oh yeah. Oh yeah.
Our view:
Oh yeah! Oh yeah!

WOO HOO indeed! You are in for a huge treat. I saw it two years ago when it was in town, and truly, it's one of the best things I've seen on stage ever. Loved, loved, loved it. If only Disney could be so creative and innovative all of the time!
Trying to decide if we can afford to go see it again this fall when it rolls back into town.
