This past Sunday I had a revelation while watching Spongebob.
I watch too much TV.
So today, during the walk from campus to work, I decided to embark on a challenge similar to No TV November. Except I wanted to raise the stakes.
Thus the 100 Day Challenge was born. 100 days without TV. Starting today.
My mom is joining in on the challenge. You can follow her progress on her blog. I'm sure she'd be appreciative of any supportive comments you care to give.
My goal for the challenge is to see how productive I can be when I'm not entirely enslaved to the idiot box. I'm rather amused that the challenge ends on Nov. 5th, Guy Fawkes Day.

Wow. Good for you! I might be able to pull that off during the summer of an odd-numbered year, but during a summer with the Olympic Games? (or the World Cup)? No way.
But that's me. So I'll be following your progress. Best of luck! :)
Good for you K. You CAN DO IT!!!!
You go, girl! You know my thoughts on the whole TV thing. Looks like I last had my TV on .... February 11. Huh. Wonder if it works.
Not me ... addicted to tv ... my drug of choice.
