First Impressions Are Important...

But second impressions count too.

So yeah... yesterday with Bob wasn't exactly the greatest time of my life.

He picked me up and we went out for lunch. We were supposed to drive his friend somewhere and then hang out. That turned into us picking up his friend and them going to the bar to play videogames and drink... at 2 in the afternoon. So I sat there on a bench, bored to tears, wasting my vacation day off work watching the drunken idiots play Buck Hunter.

Then Bob, who kept saying he was totally sober in spite of what he'd drunk, came over and just casually humped my leg.

WHAT THE HELL?

Then he kept tickling me. I hate being tickled. Like... seriously. So I told him to stop, that I hated being tickled, that it really pissed me off. His response was "Awww..." and then he tickled me again. So I punched him.

One of his friends threw a lit package of firecrackers onto the hood of someone's car. NOT COOL.

He started referring to me as "His Woman" to his friends. Riiiiight.

Needless to say, I don't think I'll be seeing Bob again. I just don't know how to call it off. E-mail? I really don't want to call him. And I feel a tiny (microscopically tiny) bit bad. Cause we had already made plans to go see a movie on Friday and go to the Renaissance Faire on Sunday. Should I wait a give it a little more time? I dunno... I hate crap like this. This is why I don't date, it's such a pain in the ass.

On a more cheerful note, how did I not know about Big Bad Voodoo Daddys? They are so much fun!

How on earth did I miss this? ! I'm hoping that he was too nervous to spend time with you alone so he hung out with his friends but then you have to ask yourself if you really like him enough to put up with that. Maybe date 3 might be the decider?

Eeeeeek! Ack, um, it doesn't sound so promising, does it?! It sounds like there's probably a good reason he's still single, eh?! You can give it more time - but the actions of his friends and he don't make things sound to promising to me, unless you want to compromise an awful lot of your self and integrity.

Yikes, I would step back from that one and just trust your gut. I guess I would just start playing the I am too busy to go out with you card.

He either needs a clip over the ear or a short sharp discussion of his behaviour. Either way, it seems to me as though you should back off!
